Funeral services will be 1 pm Thursday May 3,2018 at Crestwood Chapel for Mrs. Patricia Ann Ballou age 72 of Gadsden who died Sunday April 29, 2018. Pastor Earl Dudley will officiate . Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Ballou was a private but loving person .She never drove, but got where she wanted to go by walking. In her early years she taught Kindergarten and operated a daycare. She was an excellent cook and had a green thumb when it came to houseplants and gardening. She'll be remembered for her affectionately giving a pinch to those she liked.

She is preceded in death by her husband Leon "Cat" Ballou, parents Augusta and Eleanor Lacey and brother Jessie Williams III.

She is survived by children ,Eric(Grace) Lacey, Dannielle Ballou(Chris Brown), Tiffany Ballou, brothers, Maceo(Queenie) Williams, Robert(Kathie) Williams, Felton(Angela) Williams, sister Venita Williams, grandchildren ,Joshua and Jared Lacey ,Colton Williams, Jocelyn(Jeremy)Blaylock, Haleigh Glover, great grandchildren McKenzie and Dawson Blaylock and a large extended family.

The family will receive friends at the funeral  home  Wednesday from 5-7 pm            .
