A graveside service for Jeanette (Reynolds) Bussey, age 91, of Hokes Bluff, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, at Crestwood Cemetery. Glen Williams will officiate.

Mrs. Bussey passed away on February 13, 2026. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William "Bill" Bussey; her parents, Henry and Della (Coffee) Reynolds; and her siblings, Gordon, Ralph, Carl, Billy, and Eloise.

Left to cherish the memories of "Maw Jet" are her daughter, Sherry Prince; her brother, Leonard (Bobbi) Reynolds; her grandchildren, Jason (Monica) Williams and April Gilbert; her great-grandchildren, Aliah (Jacob) Robertson, Lana Williams, and Anna and Abby Gilbert; four great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, and their families.

Jeanette was born in Etowah County, Alabama, and was a graduate of Hokes Bluff High School. She was fiercely proud of her family. She offered steadfast support—often seasoned with heartfelt advice—but it was always blanketed in love. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
