Nellie Marie Rountree, age 85, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026. A graveside service will be held at Crestwood Cemetery on April 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., with Josh Hutt officiating.

Nellie was a devoted, family-oriented woman and a loving mother and grandmother whose presence brought warmth and strength to those around her.

She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Reaves; her son, Darrell (Tammy) Rountree; her brother, Robert (Tammy) Lipscomb; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, C.D. “Shorty” Rountree; her daughters, Darlene Parker and Sandra Heath; her son, Keith Rountree; and her parents, Robert and Minnie Lipscomb.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
