Funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Crestwood Chapel for Mrs. Nell G. Garmon, 86, of Attalla, who died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017.
Maurice Hinson will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of services.
She will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend as well a very wise business woman.
She is preceded in death by husband Don Garmon, parents Lester and Lucille Green, sister Christine Bright Ash, stepsons Chip and Bruce Hinson, sister in law Frances Green.
She is survived by Winfred (Hellen) Green, Sue (John) Bunch, Kenneth Green, Gerri (Dick) Grimes, Harold (Janice) Green, Maurice Hinson, stepson, Richard Hinson stepson and chosen daughter Tammy Chapman, grandchildren Alina Stevens, Dexter Hinson, Kheeda Hinson, Catherine Hinson and Hayden Hinson and a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Paralyzed Veterans Association.
Pallbearers will be Keith Chapman, Doyle Bright, Wade Green, David Green, John Reynolds and Andrew Wisener.
