Mrs. Nell Irene Abston, age 90, of Gadsden passed away on March 19, 2021.

She was a woman who was big on doing work in the church and belonged to several different social clubs. She did Meals on Wheels for over twenty years and owned her own business.

Mrs. Abston is survived by her daughter Deborah Abston Alford, son William Neal Abston, daughter Phyllis Zoe Abston, son Jeffery Scott (Cindy) Abston, seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, and one sister Ruth Bevis.

She is preceded in death by her husband Lester Abston, parents Milton and Ollie Waldon, and sister Carolyn Stelzman.

A celebration of life will be held for Mrs. Abston at a later date.
