Nancy Bailey Nix, 81, of LaGrange, Georgia, passed away July 28, 2022.
Nancy was born August 4, 1940, in Gadsden, Alabama, to the late Terrel Gaines Bailey and Opal Morris
Bailey. She graduated from Emma Sansom High School ('58) in Gadsden and attended Jacksonville State
University.

Nancy was married to Billy Robert Nix for 58 years and was a devoted Navy wife, homemaker and
mother. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church, loved playing the piano and enjoyed traveling.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; son, Paul Robert Nix and brother,
David Bailey. Survivors include her daughters, Kim (Mike) Bullard of McDonough, Ga; Amy (Adam) Camp
of Lagrange; seven grandchildren, Drew (Morgan) Bullard, Kyle (Mallory) Bullard and Blake Bullard
(fiancé, Kenzie Durham) all of McDonough; Gracie, Abby, Liddy and Jonas Camp, all of LaGrange; three
great-grandchildren, Olivia and Rosie Bullard of McDonough and Katie Bullard, due to arrive next month;
her younger brother, Charles Bailey, of Huntsville, Alabama; sisters-in-law, Sue Nix Woodard and Mae
Nix Aultman, both of Gadsden and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 31, from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm at Rosemont Baptist Church in LaGrange. A
visitation will also be held Tuesday, August 2, from 10:00am – 11:00 am in the chapel at Crestwood
Memorial Funeral Home in Gadsden. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 in Crestwood Memorial
Gardens with Adam Camp officiating.
