Funeral services will be at 2pm TODAY at Crestwood Chapel for Mrs. Nadine Beard Noah age 89, of Wellington who died Sunday, September 29, 2013. Rev. Eddy Beard, Dr. Emmett Roper, and Gary Hanner will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.



Mrs. Noah was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. She loved gospel singing, embroidery, and quilting.



She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Noah; parents, Tom and Ida Beard; brothers, Edward Beard, Cecil (Elizabeth) Beard, and Floyd (Kathleen) Beard; sister, Glatha (Lawton) Smith; and a very special friend, J.P. Phillips.



She was more a mother than she was an aunt to her nieces and nephews , Winsell (Susan) Beard, Eddy (Donna) Beard, Kathy (Harold) Smith, Dwayne (Faye) Beard, Tammy Beard, and a host of other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, and great- great nephews.



In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mt. Gilead Cemetery fund.



Pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 12 until 2pm TODAY at the funeral home.
