Funeral will be held at 1 PM, Thursday, December 31st, 2015, at Crestwood Chapel, for Myrtle Allen Fant, 88, of Glencoe, who went to be with Jesus on Monday, December 28th, 2015. Bro. Vince Whittington and Tim Huie will officiate. Burial will follow in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.
Mrs. Fant was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Glencoe. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister who will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lowell J. Fant.
Myrtle is survived by her sons, Royce (Judy), Melvin (Judy), and Michael (Alicia) Fant; daughters, Sandra (Rick) Freeman and Joan (Tim) Huie; 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the building fund at First Baptist Church of Glencoe.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Scott, Brian, Mathew, Christopher, Justin, Landon Fant, and Blake Huie.
The family will receive friends from 11 AM until the time of the service on Thursday.
