Graveside services will be 2 pm Thursday, at Crestwood Cemetery, for Mr. Myron Harvey, age 80, of Hokes Bluff who died Monday. Jerry Tuck will officiate. Crestwood Funeral Home announcing.

Mr. Harvey was a Goodyear retiree with 37 years of service ,he also retired as a SMSGT from The Alabama Air National Guard with  37 years of service. He loved to read and enjoyed classic cars and hot rods. He was a member of Masonic lodge # 236.

He is preceded in death by daughter Ginger Paige, parents James "Boss" Harvey, mother Carlene and stepfather David Holt.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Virginia, daughter Kelley(Randy) Sims, grandson Aaron Garth Sims, sisters in law Linda Brown, Elaine(Bob)Mynatt, Sarah Barnett, brother in law Nathan Martin and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 1 pm until the time of service.
