Morris Fredrick Phillips (age 81) of Alpine, AL passed away August 3, 2020.

He was born February 15, 1939 in Gadsden, AL to Lon and Lola Mae Phillips.

He grew up in Gadsden and graduated from Emma Sansom High School. He served our country in the
Navy and Navy Reserves. He married Susan Houston, October 16, 1981.

Preceding Morris in death are his parents; son, Ronnie Phillips; brothers: J.M. Sprugeon and Jack
Spurgeon.
Morris is survived by his wife, Susan; Children: Kiley (Kathy) , Patrick (Nikki), Andrew (Misty); Several
grandchildren, nieces and nephews; Sisters: Imogene Wallace, Barbara Ledbetter, Wilma Sue Dalton
and Helen Waldrop.

A Graveside Memorial Service will take place at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Gadsden, AL,
August 8 at 2:00 PM

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Alzheimer's of Central Alabama.
