Mickie Annette Goddard died July 2, 2018 age 76 of Gadsden. Mickie was born in Etowah County. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elbert S. SR. and Walcie Wilson, sister, Sudie Kay Robinson, son, Matthew   Paul Goddard.

She is survived by brother, Elbert S. Jr. "Rusty" Wilson and his wife Debroah; daughter, Jody Maddox Swentner; granddaughter, Keeley Maddox Fletcher, husband Stephen; and her sweet loving great grandson, Dalton Lamar Flecther; grandsons, Blaine, Josh and Jordan Goddard; daughters - in - law, Jennifer Chastain and Laurel McClliney; nephew, Marty Robinson and his wife Virginia; special nieces, Tiffany Robinson, Tyler Parrot and Kristin "Krissie" Vincent and all of their loving children.

Mickie's passion for sports during the 70's and 80's lead her to be one of the "Great" Female Golfer's in Etowah County and throughout the State of Alabama.

She worked at Job Corps as Recreational Director and Coach there she was so proud she could make a difference in many young lives.

A private memorial will be held to honor her life.
