On line services will be held 2 pm Wednesday at Gadsden coc .org, for Mr. Michael Allen East,  age 71, of Glencoe, who passed away this life into the comfort of his heavenly Home Saturday November 21,2020. Crestwood Funeral Home announcing.

Mike was a member of Central Church of Christ and later Gadsden Church of Christ where he was a deacon for many years.

He was a retired truck driver starting his career at Bowman Transportation. He was a hard worker and willing to help those in need. He was a friend to all and a true inspiration to his children and grandchildren. He was a die Hard Roll Tide fan and lifelong resident of Etowah County.

He is preceded in death by his son Buster, parents Mildred and Albert, and brother Dewey.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Janice, sons Michael (Lorie), Tyler and daughters Maria(Jeff) ,and Katie, grandchildren Timothy, Elizabeth, Daniel, grand dogs Sassy, Clover and Bo ,brother David(Ellen) and a host of in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends..

Honorary pallbearers are Elders and deacons of Gadsden Church of Christ, Bob Staton, Johnny Moore and Charles Atchley. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery
