Melinda Helm of Gallant, Alabama passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023. She was a loving mother and Ninnie of three beautiful grandchildren. She showed selfless acts of kindness to everyone she met. One of her gratest passions was cooking for the people she loved. She wil be missed dearly.
Melinda is preceded in death by her mother Sandra; stepfather Barry; grandparents Roy and Lorea Bruce; and her grandson Jayden.
She is survived by her son Blake Sewell(Angel); daughter Kendra Dean; grandson Dakotah Dean; granddaughters Rylee and Aubree Sewell; brothers Lloyd Mitchell (Phyllis) and Larry Mitchell; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family would like to express special thanks to the nurses and staff of Aveanna Hospice.
