Wooten, Maxine Whitt, 86 of Clearwater, FL passed away on Sept. 20. Mrs. Wooten was born in Sardis, AL and lived in Gadsden, AL for over 50 years. She was married to Ollie Wooten and is survived by her daughter, Patti Thompson and son-in-law, Kevin Thompson. She was a member of Dwight Baptist Church. She retired from Republic Steele. She passed away in the home of her daughter surrounded by friends and loved ones. There will be a celebration of life in Florida and her remains laid to rest at Crestwood Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to The Hospice Foundation http://www.hospicefoundation.org/. Special thanks to Hospice and family friend, Nancy-Edge Schmitz, for all the help and care she was given during this time. She will always be remembered as being a loving mother and friend.
