A celebration of life will be held on Friday April 14, 2017 at Crestwood Funeral Home for Maximilian "Max" Baohu Shen DeLauney, age 8, who died Tuesday, April 11, 2017. Dr. Deric Thomas will officiate.
Max had a smile that would light up any room; his laugh was contagious. His favorite activity was to paint, draw, and color. He was an avid Auburn football fan, and loved Captain America.
He is preceded in death by his Poppy, Danny Belyeu. He is survived by his parents, Bryan and Kristen DeLauney, brother Miles, his Nana and Papa, David and Tricia Noah (Hokes Bluff), his Aunt Kimbie and Uncle Bud (Kimberly and Jonathan Cash, Southside), his best friend and cousin Colton Cash, and cousin Jackson Cash. He is also survived by numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Special thanks to the staff of the cardiovascular intensive care unit at Children's of Alabama. Thank you, not only for your care for him as a patient, but for loving him as one of your own.
Visitation will be from 11:00-1:00 , Friday April 14, 2017, with private graveside service to follow.
Max loved all superheroes, especially Captain America. Please wear your favorite superhero attire in memory of Max.
