Funeral services will be at 12 p.m. on Monday, February 4, 2019 at Crestwood Funeral Home for Maxie Lee McCullough 92, of Ashville, Al. who passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019. Dr. Thom Harrison will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.

Maxie was a lifelong member of Ashville United Methodist Church where she sang alto in the choir. She was a graduate of Springville High School, Jacksonville State University, and achieved a Masters Degree and AA from UAB. She taught second grade at Ashville Elementary for many years. Mother traveled extensively all over America and around the world.

Preceded in death by her husband of 62 ½ years, Sanford; parents, Mr. and Mrs. McAdory Keith, siblings; Bill Smith, Frances Williams, Ruby Alvarado, Willie Reeves.

Survived by her son Larry (Frog), her daughter Cathy (Mark) Miller, grandchildren; Graham Miller and Anna Lee McCullough, surviving Siblings are Lettie Poe and James Keith, many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Larry McCullough, Graham Miller, Randle Palmer, Steven Cornelison, Michael Cornelison, Randy Carroll and Jim Keith.

Special thanks to hospice of St. Vincent's hospital, Pell City, also a kind thanks to the paramedics of Ashville.

The family will receive friends and familygh from 11 until noon on February 4, 2019.
