Graveside service will be at 2pm Saturday, April 12, at Crestwood Cemetery for Mary Prater Stovall, age 90, Hokes Bluff, who died April 9, 2014. John Simmons and Earl Lockett will officiate. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct services.

Mrs. Stovall is preceded in death by her husband Hugh C. Stovall, parents Dixie and Sally Prater, four brothers, and 2 sisters.

She is survived by her daughter Nancy (John) Simmons, grandson Michael Simmons, granddaughter Terri (Jason) Northcutt, four great grandchildren Will Northcutt, Allie Simmons, Mary Katherine Northcutt, Brant Simmons, and sister Opal Duncan.

The family will accept flowers or memorials may be sent The Bell Center, 1700 29th Court Street South, Birmingham, AL 35290 or Amedisys Hospice of Gadsden, 115 West Grand Ave. Suite 70, Rainbow City, AL 35906.
