Mary Ann Perry went home to be with our Lord Tuesday June 22, 2021. Graveside service at Crestwood Cemetery will be Friday June 25, 2021 at 2:00 pm.
Mr. Mark Clifton and Reverend David Lee officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service in the Chapel at Crestwood Funeral Home.
Mary Ann was born February 12, 1939 in Gadsden. She was a lifelong member of East Gadsden United Methodist Church. She graduated in 1957 from Gadsden High School
and married the love of her life later that same year.
Mary Ann was a loving mother, devoted wife and she will be missed so much by her children, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Bill C. Perry; loving parents Luther Isom Lee and Ruby Gowens Lee, sister Charleen Lee Clifton
and son in law, Tripp Andrews.
She LOVED Alabama Football, always watched the games and cheered loudly for her "boys". Often, she would wish to cook a meal for the football team.
Mother loved all flowers and anything related to her yard and gardening. She had a "card ministry" for many years and was a prayer warrior for family and friends.
She devoted herself to others and taught her children how to love unconditionally. Mary Ann loved all the family especially her children, grands, and fur grandbabies.
Mary Ann is survived by three children. Lee (Lane) Berry, Lori Perry Andrews and Bill (Brenda) Perry. Granddaughters, Andrea (Justin) Cox and Christy Lee Andrews.
Grandson, Brady Cole Perry and great granddaughter Taylor Grace Cox.
Special Brothers, Johnny (Beth) Lee and David (Denise) Lee, many precious nieces, nephews, cousins and life long friends.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Berry, Lane Berry, Mark Clifton, Mario Gallardo, Bill Perry and Brady Perry.
Special thanks to Riverview Nurses in CCU, Cardiac Step Down Unit, 3rd floor night shift, RN Case Manager and Amedisys Hospice for the tender care of our Mother and thoughtful interactions with the family.
Precious thanks to Lori Perry Andrews and Christy Lee Andrews for the devoted, loving care they provided for Mother at home.
