Funeral services will be 1 pm Wednesday at Crestwood Chapel for Mrs. Mary "Jackie" Patterson age 71 of Gadsden who went to be with The Lord Sunday ,June 24,2018. Pastor Paul Clark will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home announcing.

Jackie was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend. She was a sweet humble spirit that was loved by many. A devoted member of the church all her life and was dedicated to serving others.  Jackie loved spending time with her family and friends, always with a sweet smile and a kind word for everyone she met.

She is preceded in death by her father, E.C. Kidd Sr.

Jackie is survived by her husband of 53 years, Phillip Patterson, daughters Cindy(Greg) Logan, Michelle(Chris) Holderfield, mother Anna Kidd, brothers Ed(Sara) Kidd, Bob Kidd, Tony Kidd ,grandchildren Jessica(Clay)Chapman, Dalton Holderfield, Tyler Holderfield and Rachel Logan, special great grandchild Caylen Chapman, numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces ,nephews and brothers and sisters in law.

Pallbearers will be Ray Shew, Dave Hofland, Mark Kidd, Michael Kidd, Jason Hall and Blake Hill.

Special thanks to  Dr. Kerri Bevis and staff(UAB),Amedisys Hospice, Dr. Ndibe, Dr Harrison, Gadsden Regional Cancer Center staff and all friends who supported her through the long battle with cancer with loving cards,calls and visits.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 11 am until the time of service.
