Mary Frances Shackelford, aged 80, died peacefully on July 19,2017 at her home in
Anniston, Alabama. Mary was born on May 26,1937, in Heflin, Alabama, the daughter of William J. Lumpkin and Minnie L. Clark Lumpkin.

Mary is survived by her husband of 6l years, Harry Shackelford; sisters, Ruby
Woods, Catherine Collins, and Katie Cobb; brother, Ralph Lumpkin; sons, Jeff
Shackelford (Mendy), Donald Shackelford (Cindy), James Shackelford (Chun), and Dean
Shackelford (Trina); daughters, Harriet Butterworth, Twana Wilson (Kenny), and Tracy Johnson (Terry); eighteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Minnie Lumpkin; sisters Lucile Cavender, Margaret Yates; brothers Clyde Lumpkin, Rudolph Lumpkin, and Willie Lee; son John Shackelford; and great-grandson Lucas Chianelli.

There will be a 2 P.M. graveside service for family and friends at Forest Lawn Gardens, in Anniston, Alabama on Monday, July 24, 2017 with Rev. John D. Collins officiating. Visitation will be noon until time of service in the Forrest Lawn mausoleum chapel
