Funeral will be at 1 pm Thursday at Crestwood Chapel for Mrs. Katherine Headrick age 83 of Glencoe who died Monday October 20, 2014. Reverend Keith Hudson will officiate. Burial will be in Rainbow Memorial Gardens . Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of services.

Mrs. Headrick was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Glencoe ,a member of Betty Swinford Sunday School Class and retired form H & R Block with numerous years of service. She was an avid member of Woman to Woman Breast Cancer support group having been a 25 year breast cancer survivor herself.

She is preceded in death by her husband Joe Headrick, Parents W.E.and Marie Braden, grandson Clatis Joe Headrick and daughter in law Linda Gibbs.

Survived by sons Kelly(Randee) Gibbs, Alan(Kim) Gibbs ,Daughter Marissa Gibbs, stepchildren Carol(Larry) Cobb, Barbara( Richard) Bolin, Sandra(Eddie) Tucker, Mark(Ruth) Headrick, grandchildren David(Jaclyn) Gibbs, Nathan(&Fiancee AshleyHitt) Gibbs, Amber Read, Chad(Tricia) Gibbs, Ashleigh(Beau) Ashley, Linsey(Bruce) Walsh, Natalie(Kevin) Humphrey, Emily(Brandon) Hall, Thomas Tucker, Mark(Leah) Bolin, Rebecca Vinson, Alan Cobb numerous great grandchildren, sister Lillian Owens, brothers Joe(Jean) Braden and John Earl(Joanne) Braden.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 11 am until the time of service.
