Funeral will be at 2pm today, March 1, at Crestwood Chapel for Mary Magdalene Garrett, age 79, of Gadsden, AL., who died February 28, 2012. Rev. Steve Lucy will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Memorial Funeral will direct services.
Mary had retired from Wal-Mart at Hattiesburg, MS. She was a homemaker, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by her husband Bobby Lee Garrett; sons and daughters in law Nathaniel "Buddy" and Diana Chambliss and Robert "Peanut" and Debbie DuBois; daughter and son in law Roxanne DuBois Mayer and Mark; step sons and daughters in law Robert and Karen Garrett and Charles and Linda Garrett; grandchildren Shanon and Shane Chambliss, Kristy McCullars, Brandon DuBois, Rande' and Woody Goodly, Roy Finley, Russell, Ami, and Kristen Caldwell, Christopher , Adam, Craig , Brian, Timothy, Austine, and Lawson Garrett; Daniel Mayer, great grandchildren Stephanie Chambliss, Mylee and Carter DuBois, and Emerson Claire Wagoner;l sister Penny Wade; several nieces and nephews.
Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon until the hour of service.
