Mrs. Mary Onzell Gaither Day, 86 of Huntsville, died December 8, 2017. Her funeral service will be Monday, December 11, 2017 at 11 A.M. in Crestwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation will be 10 until 11 A.M.

Ms. Day was born on August 23, 1931, in Gadsden, Alabama to Gladys Martin Gaither and Louis Denson Gaither.

After attending primary school in Gadsden, she graduated from Gadsden High School in 1949. Ms. Day married Robert Raymond Day in 1949 and had two children; Mary Labron and Martin Todd. They lived in several states in the US which included Alabama, Texas, Tennessee and Kentucky. She settled in Huntsville, Alabama in 1983 where she has made her home.

Survivors include, daughter, Labron Beam and husband Charlie; Son, Todd Day and wife Lori; granddaughters, Kendall Day and Molly Day; sister-in-laws, Marlene Gaither and Marti Paschal; nieces, Lorre James and Michelle Pittman; nephews, Brad Gaither and Shane Gaither; cousins, Mandell Tillman and Ginger Smith; special friends, Cecil and Melissa Wood.

Preceeded in death by Father, Louis Denson Gaither; Mother, Gladys Martin Gaither; brothers, L.D. Gaither and Stancil Gaither; granddaughter, Rachel Beam; niece, Shawn Bray.
