Services will be 1 pm Friday for Our beloved mom, grandmother and great grandmother. Mary Gray age 88 of Gadsden" Gi Gi" has been set free from this earthly place, as of Sunday she has moved on to her heavenly home, now to be with other loved ones, and her heavenly father for eternity. Brother Thom Harrison will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of services.
Her memories to be carried on by her son, Dan Gray; grandson, Jason (Shea)Gray ,great grandchildren Ann Gray and Stella Gray. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years , Wallace Daniel Gray. Our loved one was a devout Christian for 53 years, of those 53 years she gave her heart and soul to the Lord's will. She was a charter member of North Glencoe Baptist Church where her membership remained to date. Her work for the Lord was both near and far. Locally she cared for those in need of his word at Coosa Valley Nursing Home,bringing music and fellowship for nearly 10 years, taught Sunday school. Afar she helped bring the Lord's message on Mission trips to Belize, El Salvador and Mexico in hopes that they may come to know our savior.
You will be greatly missed although our hearts rejoice knowing you are at rest with our King and Savior. We are thankful for your unconditional love you showed throughout your time here, your undaunted prayers, and exemplary role you were to us. Rest well until we meet again.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to, Samaritans Purse, Jimmy Hale Mission, or John Croyles Big Oak Ranch.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 11 am until the time of service.
