Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery for Martha Tucker, 81, of Gadsden, who died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013. The Rev. Eric House will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct.
Mrs. Tucker was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Hokes Bluff and was a lifelong resident of Etowah County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Fay Tucker; son, Thomas Martin Tucker; and her parents, H.C. and Irene Kennedy; sister, Jean Keener.
She is survived by her daughters, Lynne (William) Campbell and Angie (William) Blevins; grandchildren, Cary Campbell, Candice (Dan) Turner, Bart (Heather) Blevins and Bridgette (Brandon) Myers and Michael Tucker, great-grandchildren, Allison Turner, Amelia Turner, Allie Blevins and Brody Blevins.
Honorary pallbearers are the staff of Coosa Valley Healthcare, who loved and cared for her for 10 years, and she loved them.
