Martha was a Gadsden native that graduated from Gadsden High School.  She pursued her career by attending Auburn University.  She became a pharmacist and worked in the state of Alabama for the duration of her career.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, A.C. And Mary Hansard.

She was survived by her sisters Joyce Hansard and Anne Harris (Milton).  Many nieces and nephews to include great, and great-great nieces and nephews.

She was a private person who loved her family and loved to participate in family gatherings and holiday's.  She lived in Birmingham for most of her adult life.  Martha will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her
