Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Crestwood Memorial Chapel for Mrs. Marion Janett Roebuck, age 77, of Gadsden, who died on Sunday, April 1, 2012. Burial will be in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct.
Mrs. Roebuck was a graduate of Emma Samsom High School, a member of Dwight Baptist Church , a charter member of the Alabama City Historical Association, and retired from Goodyear where she worked for Dr. Frank Finney. She was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Rice and her father, Ed Hawkins.
She is survived by her son, Jim (Connie) Roebuck, of Gadsden; granddaughter, Jay Oliver, of Gadsden; grandson, Jimmy Roebuck, of Southside; great granddaughter, Jade Oliver, of Gadsden and a brother, Robert Hawkins, of Georgia.
Pallbearers will be Ray Wain, Eddie Hill, Alan Gimm and Mark Waits.
Honorary pallbearers will be special friends, Bobby and Marty McDonald, Kathleen Estes, Harold and Ruby Smith, Linda Entrekin and Gail Wood.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home and the family requests for everyone attending to dress casual.
