Funeral services will be at 1 pm Tuesday March 1st, at Crestwood Chapel for Ms. Marion Day age 88 of Gadsden who died Sunday. Reverend Jeff Mathis will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.
Ms. Day was a 1947 graduate of Gadsden High and a retiree of Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company with over 35 years of service. She was a member of Paden Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her love for her family and friends. She cared for her ailing mother until her passing. She was always cheerful and never complained.
She is preceded in death by her parents Marion and Janie Day, sister Anne Day Garigues.
She is survived by nephew Mike (Marie)Garigues, great niece Amanda(Jeff) Mathis, special chosen great nieces Ashley and Cassidy Thrasher.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Paden Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 11 am until the time of services.
