Marie Coley, 88 of Glencoe passed away October 11, a memorial service will be scheduled at a later
date.
Marie was a devoted wife of over 60 years to Amiel P. Coley, a loving mother of four, and grandmother
of eight and an active member of the community. She gladly volunteered her time to church and
Glencoe youth sports. Her nursing career included time at Baptist Hospital and Coosa Valley
Convalescent Center.
Marie was a woman of strong faith and a three-time cancer survivor who loved animals and everything
about the rural way of life. She will be missed by many.
The family would like to give heartfelt thanks to Northside Health Care and Encompass Hospice for their
kindness and compassion.
