Margaret Ruth Taylor, age 89, of Gadsden, passed away on May 30th, 2024. A graveside service will be held at Crestwood Cemetery on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024, at 2 p.m. Butch Taylor will be officiating the service.

Margaret will be remembered as a devout Christian. She loved nature and gardening. Her home was adorned with the most beautiful flowers. She fed and enjoyed watching birds, they knew  she would have food readily available. She also was a wonderful cook and spaghetti and meatballs and her tea were her specialties. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed by many.

Preceded in death by her husband of 70 years Gerald Taylor and grandson Matthew Taylor.

She is survived by her children Susan (Bruce) Bailey, Carol (David) Surtees, Steve (Laneeca) Taylor, Grandchildren Logan and Wyatt Bailey, Trent, Brae and Taylor Surtees, Brooke, Martin, Ashley Walters; seven great grandchildren and soon to be eight
