Obituary

Margaret Jo Prince, 90, of Glencoe, passed away at home Sunday December 8 surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Funeral services will be at 11am Wednesday December 11 at Crestwood Chapel. Rev. Vince Whittington will be officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.
Born June 26, 1923 she was a lifetime member of Glencoe 1st Baptist Church. There she served for 30 plus years as pianist . Through the years she taught numerous piano students at her home.
Her love for music began at a very early age. Because of her musical abilities she was awarded a full scholarship to Howard College. She was always an avid life long Auburn fan.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Wayne L. Prince, Sr., infant son Jonathan Thomas Prince, mother Catherine McBrayer, father William Armstrong, brothers Billy Armstrong, Wanless McBrayer, Jack M. McBrayer, Hayden McBrayer and sister Carolyn Moore.
She leaves to cherish her memories sons Wayne (Barbara) Prince, Jr. and Lew (Diane) Prince, grandchildren Lee Prince, Carrie (Micah) Brown, Katie (Bert) Phillips, Kelly Thomas, Jon(Annika) Prince, Lara (Jeremy) Fisher, great grandchildren Jade Brown, Josh Brown, Maddie Phillips, Emma Thomas, Walker Prince.
Pallbearers will be Jon Prince, Lee Prince, Micah Brown, Josh Brown, Jeremy Fisher, Bert Phillips, Tony Armstrong, Mike Armstrong, Jimmy Armstrong, Mark McBrayer and G.R. Norton.
Honorary Pallbearers are Leston McBrayer, Randall Harris, Chris Sims, and Jeremy Griffith.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Glencoe 1st Baptist Building Fund or to Samaritan's Purse.

For it is by dying that one awakens to eternal life. "To God be the Glory"
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 9:30 to 11.
