Funeral will be at 2 pm Thursday at Crestwood Chapel for Mrs. Nellie Bruce Gregg age 84 of Gadsden who died Monday. Her Grandson Reverend Caleb Gregg will officiate . Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of services.
Mrs. Gregg was a lifelong resident of Etowah County. She was a homemaker and a loving dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She loved going to her boy's ball games, fishing, crocheting and especially attending her church, Louis Street Baptist.
She is preceded in death by husband of 56 years Ernest L. Gregg, their daughter Deborah Gregg Owens of Glencoe, her parents Luther and Mae Bruce of Glencoe, brother W.A. Bruce of Glencoe and sister Bea St. John of Fort Payne.
She is survived by daughter Donna(Eddie) Skaggs, Gadsden ,2 sons Danny(Susan) Gregg Northport, Dewayne(Kim) Gregg, Cedar Bluff and her son in law Joe Owens Glencoe. She was a proud grandmother to Emily(Bruce) Taliaferro, Grant(Cassie) Skaggs,Robin(Glenn) Phillips,Wade( Holley) Skaggs, April(Dustin) Daugherty, Joseph(Kristi) Owens, Jessica(Jared) Millican, Caleb Gregg, Hannah Gregg, Laura Gregg, Dylan Berry, Great-grandchildren Tyler, Sawyer, Olivia, Evan, Vila, Victoria, Keller, Charlee, Easton, Judge, Evey, Remy, Collin, Ella, Emma Grace, Thomas, Dylan, Blake, and Austin. Other survivors include a sister Mary(Melvin) Browder, Boaz, sister in-law Gynevis Gregg, Boaz, brother in-law Delwin Vinson, Dayton Ohio, special niece Norma McMahan.

Pallbearers will be Grandsons and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Gleaners Sunday School Class at Louis Street Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 until 8 pm.
