Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Crestwood Chapel for Mrs. Margaret R. Gray, 86, of Gadsden, who died Thursday, May 15, 2014. The Rev. Bill Abbott will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of services.
Mrs. Gray loved gardening, cooking, camping, traveling with her Senior Citizens group and especially her family, of which she went out of her way to help in raising her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all she met and will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, William "Bill" Gray; and her parents, Sam E. and Ethel Jones; and three brothers.
She is survived by her daughters, Louise (Ray) Copeland, Rhonda (Randy) Scruggs; and son, Danny (Kathy) Gray; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters; one brother; and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
