Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon on Friday, September 5, 2008 at Crestwood Memorial Chapel for Margaret Dodd Allee, age 81, who died on Tuesday, September 2, 2008. Rev. Bud Swindall and Rev. Tommy Campbell will officiate. Burial will be at Reeves Grove Cemetery. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct.
Mrs. Allee was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Newman, of Madison, AL.; sons, Lonnie (Debbie) Greene, of Gadsden, AL. and Dodd (Emily) Allee, of Trussville, AL.; grandchildren, Matt Newman, of Madison, AL., Robert (Stacey) Slay, of Columbus, GA. and Ryan Slay, of Columbus, GA.; great grandchildren, Kaylin, Kelsey and Ethan; sisters, Thelma Bolin, of Largo, FL. and Ethelyn (Charles) Fuqua, of Brandon, FL.; brothers, Wayne (Clela) Dodd and Gene (Judy) Dodd, of Ashville, AL, Hazel (Hoyt) Baswell, of Granite Falls, N.C..
Pallbearers will be Preston Newman, Robert Slay, Ryan Slay, Dodd Allee, Lonnie Greene and Matt Newman.

The family will receive friends on Friday, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home.
