Funeral services will be 1 pm Wednesday, at Crestwood Chapel, for Mrs. Lucille Garner, age 92 of Gadsden who died Sunday. Reverend Philip Elliot will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Lucille went to work at South Central Bell at an early age, which allowed her to retire at age 55. She travelled across America, seeing many states 2-3 times over. She devoted countless hours to her family, friends and church and most importantly shopping. Her greatest enjoyment was her 5 great grandchildren, Jake, Christian, Jonah, Ethan and Jonah Garner.

She is preceded in death by husband Eulice Garner, son Don ,parents Ethel and Henry Jones, sisters, Ruby Bradley, Gladys Maise, brothers, J.D., James and Herbert Garner.

She is survived by grandsons Kevin (Meredith) Garner, Chris (Nicole),Garner, great grandchildren Jamie, Jonah, Jake, Christian and Ethan.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery fund.
