Funeral will be at 3:00PM Sunday at Crestwood Chapel for Lozelle Corrine Large, age 90, Gadsden, who died September 17, 2009. Rev. Carlisle will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct.
Mrs. Large was of the Baptist faith and a longtime member of Twelfth Street Baptist. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother. She had worked with the War Department, the Pentagon, and Alabama Department of Public Safety. She is preceded in death by her husband Orville P. Large and parents L.W. Edgeworth and Leila Dodd Edgeworth.
She is survived by one daughter, Melinda L. Short; and one grandson Steven M. Short; Cousin Kelly (Judy) Edgeworth; Several Nieces and Nephews.
Honorary Pallbearers will be her caregivers Brenda Patterson, Kathy Dennis, Kesia Marrie, Starlight Brock, and others who gave loving care.
The family will receive friends 1pm Sunday until the hour of service.
