Funeral Service will be held today at 2:00 PM at Crestwood Memorial Chapel for Louise H. Stephens, who died Monday February 15, 2010. Rev Harvey Beck will officiate. Entombment will be in Crestwood Mausoleum.
Mrs. Stephens was born near Hanceville in Cullman County and grew up in Oneonta, where she met and married Howard Stephens. During World War II she worked at the Army Air Depot in Gadsden, and later at the Gadsden Times in the display advertising Department.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Colonel and Mary Hasty, husband Howard Stephens, and brother C.L. Hasty, Arab.
She is survived by her sons Bruce Stephens, Atlanta and Randy Stephens, Gadsden.
The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hokes Bluff United Methodist Church.
