Funeral will be at 3pm Sunday at Crestwood Chapel for Louis Jackson "Jack" Ragsdale age 78, of Gadsden who died Friday, December 7, 2007. Revs. Van Lockridge and Don Graham will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.
Mr. Ragsdale served in the U.S. Marines and worked 24 years at Whiting Manufacturing and Homestead Manufacturing. He was a member of Oak Bowery Baptist Church, and formally a longtime member of Bellevue Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandson; Mark Coley, his parents, and his brother, Charles Ragsdale.
He is survived by his wife; Louise Ragsdale, son; Steve (Pat) Ragsdale, daughter; Jackie Ragsdale, grandchildren; Christy (Joey) Dodd, Chris (Samantha) Coley, Adam Stephens, Abel Keen, Samantha Keen, and 6 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 Sunday at the funeral home.
