Graveside services will be 1 pm Monday, at Crestwood Cemetery, for Mrs. Linda Jean Lancaster, age 73, of Birmingham, formerly Gadsden, who died Tuesday, February 15, 2022. Crestwood Funeral Home Announcing.

Linda will be remembered as a fun loving  Mother and Mi Mi . She loved traveling, photography, collecting rocks, and driftwood. She enjoyed the outdoors, spending time at the lake and  gardening. She was a graduate of the University of Alabama and where she went on to receive her Master's degree. She worked as head of the lab at Cooper Green hospital for many years until she retired and started a new career with her husband Clark at Orbitec Solutions Inc. in Birmingham, Alabama. She was loved by all and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her father, Edward Brooks. She is survived by her mother Jean Callan, husband of 48 years Clark, son Scott(Krystal) Lancaster, daughter Brooke Lancaster, grandchildren Arabella and Coralyn Lancaster and  Kaleigh Allen, sister Deana(Jeff) Thacker, brother Richard(Cheri) Brooks and a large extended family.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 12-1 pm until the time of service.
