Celebration of life, will be held Saturday,3 pm, at East Gadsden Baptist Church, for Mrs. Linda Ruth Gwin, age 79, of Gadsden, who passed away Sunday, July 25,2022 Reverend Noah Medders will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home announcing.

Mrs. Gwin will be remembered as a devout Christian, prayer warrior, worked for all to be saved. She loved all outdoors ,lawn ,gardening, flowers, great cook, had a love all personality, couldn't and wouldn't speak bad about anybody. Loved singing for the Lord, adored her family. She was truly loved and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by parents Monroe and Ruth Milling and step fathers Casey Stephens and R.L. Lee sisters Janice(Roger) Davis and Deborah Milling, brother Tim Milling.

She is survived by husband of 52 years, Perry W. Gwin Sr., son Matthew(Olivia) Gwin, grandson Matthew "Cade" Gwin sister in law Lynn Stepke ,Marilyn (Ben) Butler, Marcia(Edwin) Wright And numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to East Gadsden Baptist Church or Harvestfield Church lighting fund.

Special thanks to the staff of Cherokee county health and rehab and Cherokee county Medical Center E.R. and ambulance staff.

The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 1 pm until the time of service.
