Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday, at Crestwood Chapel, for Mrs. Linda Gail Elliott, age 80, of Gadsden, who died September 18, 2024. Heath Bowman, Mike Yates, and Roger Griffith will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Mrs. Elliott will be remembered for her kindness and love for all. But she could put you in your place as well. She loved the beach, shopping, QVC, and her fur babies. Her dog Jackson was loved as much as family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all and will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by parents Kidd and Zora Posey, sister Myra Diane Posey, brother Jackie Roy Posey.
She is survived by husband James Wesley Elliott, daughters Carla(Tony) Brooks, Myra(Tony) Edwards, Tina Elliott and son James (Michelle) Wesley Elliott Jr. sisters Shelby Posey, Strawn Ridge, Brenda Richards. Grandchildren Haley, Casey, Evan, Christopher, Wesley,
Ashley, Savannah, Zack, Tara, Autumn and 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Shriners Children's Hospital.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 12 pm until the time of service.
