Funeral will be at 1:00 pm on February 24, 2023 at Crestwood Cemetery for Leon Bell Jr., age 57, who died February 10, 2023.  Crestwood Funeral is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be February 24, 2023 at 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Leon was an over the road trucker for 33 years. He reached a million miles 27 years into his career. He loved watching wrestling with his wife, playing with his fur babies, and seeing his family when he was home. Cooking was always a passion of his especially when it came to banana pudding and hams for holidays. Grilling or making a big fire for his grandkids was always something he enjoyed, on his weekends home. His Santa costume will be missed this Christmas.

He is survived by his loving wife of 7 years Julie; children, Daniel Lee Becker and wife Brittany of Hollins, Ben Miller and wife Clara of Piedmont, Desirea Rose Ali of Calera, Nicole Becker of Hollins, and Cassey Holloman and husband Tim of Weaver; siblings, Robert Bell Sr. and wife Karen of Gadsden, Sherry McDowell and husband James of Andalusia and Mary Grosenheider and husband Kevin of Birmingham; nephews, Robert Bell Jr., Anthony Bell, Tyler McDowell, Andrew Drake, Christopher Drake and Jon Grosenheider; nieces, Skye Drake and Genesis Drake; grandchildren, Austin Lee Becker, Connie Marie Becker, Winter Becker, Zyana Ali, Nevah Ali, Hali Holloman, Cerenity Holloman, Winter Holloman, Timothy Holloman Jr., Xander Holloman, and Krimson Holloman.


In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to his wife Julie.
