Funeral services will be 1 pm Friday at Crestwood Chapel for Mr. Lenton "Reverend Jack" Lancaster age 90 of Gadsden who died Tuesday . Reverend Alen Ragan will officiate. Burial will be in Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Crestwood Funeral; home in charge of services.

Reverend Jack as he was lovingly known loved The Lord and was a true faithful servant , after he was saved he started a nursing home ministry with many of the local nursing homes.

He is preceded in death by wife Helen Lancaster, parents George and Clarice Lancaster, brothers and sister in laws, William "Billy" and Christine Lancaster, Robert "Bob" and Iris Lancaster and James "Jimmy" and Gladys Lancaster.

He is survived by sons Richard "Ricky" (Becky) Lancaster, Ronald "Ronnie(Sharon) Lancaster, Donald "Jim" Lancaster, daughters Lou Ann(Richard) Collier and Iris "Susie"(Ken) McEwen,15 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

Our family would like to thank the staff of Alacare Hospice that helped care for Dad. We would not have made it without you. We would also like to thank the sitters of Healing Hearts  Home Care.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 11 am until the time of service.
