Graveside services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, March 14th in Crestwood Cemetery for Lelia "Faith" Hester Cohen, 74, of Gadsden, who passed away on Sunday, March 8th, 2015. Pastor Ray Johnson will officiate. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.
Faith was born in Ft. Payne, AL. Over many years she was a hair stylist in the Gadsden/Glencoe area.
Mrs. Cohen was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Fred Cohen; parents, John Wallace and Lelia Leona Hester; sisters, Stella Young, Ivanell Samuelis, Myrtle Thomas, Frances Girvin, and Lorene Rochester; brothers, J.W. Hester, Jr., Lewis Hester, and John Wallace Hester, III.
She is survived by her children, Teresa Faulkner (David) Johnson and Cindy Faulkner (Jeff) Martin; grandchildren, Steven (Merritt) Holmes, Chris (Cathryn) Johnson, Adam (Casey) Johnson, and Josh (Bobbie Jo) Martin; great-grandchildren, Dalton Holmes, Aiden, Luke, and Parker Johnson, Ethan, Hunter, Hallie, and Autumn Martin, Emma, Ashton, Ben, and Margaret Holmes; sisters, Linda (Bill) Brock and Delphia Hall; and special friends, Nell Collins, Linda Owens, and Margie Graves.
Pallbearers will be the sons-in-law and grandsons.
The family will accept friends for visitation from 12-2 PM at Crestwood Funeral Home
