L.P. passed away on April 15th, 2025. A memorial service will be held at Crestwood Funeral Home on April 19th, 2025, at 2 p.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Daniel Woodcock will be officiating.

He will be remembered for being resourceful and able to fix anything. He had a unique sense of humor and was tough as nails. At work he was a leader and supervised crews at numerous locations. He would get frustrated every now and then but got over it quickly. He loved his sons dearly. L.P. was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Survived by his father Ricky Prater, sons Casey (Sarah) Prater, Andrew Prater, and Christian Prater.
