Graveside services will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, October 8th, 2015, at Crestwood Cemetery for Lawrence Parks Rozelle, 74, of Gadsden, who passed away Saturday, October 3rd, 2015. Pastor Will Hughes will officiate. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.

Mr. Rozelle was a 1959 graduate of Gadsden High School. He was also a 30 year retiree of Goodyear Distribution Center. He always had a deep love for Tennessee walking horses, and he enjoyed fishing. Larry loved to watch Alabama football with his friends. He was a loving father, and he will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kay Lockridge Rozelle; brother, Jim Rozelle; and parents, Syl and Margaret Rozelle.

He is survived by his daughter, Kate Rozelle; son, Larry Rozelle; granddaughter, Kaylyn Rozelle; brother Sonny (JoAnn) Rozelle; sister, Catherine Rozelle; brother-in-law, Don (Martha) Lockridge; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The family will accept flowers, or donations may be made to the Humane Society. The family asks that no green plants be sent.

Pallbearers will be Sean Lee, Heath Griffin, Tyler Fleming, Greg Graves, Jim Ragan, Randy Beason, Matthew White, and Darrell Matheny.

Honorary pallbearers are Larry Tarrance and all retirees of Goodyear Distribution Center.

Special thanks to the staff of Attalla Rehab for the loving care of Mr. Rozelle and the support that was given to his family.

No public visitation will be held.
