"Graduation Day"

Laurence R. Koehler, beloved son of Alexander (deceased) and Velma Koehler (ne Hurst), brother of Sandra (deceased), Donald, and Patty, nephew of George Hurst (Myra) and Ronald Hurst (deceased, Kathleen); nephew of numerous deceased uncles and aunts, uncle and great uncle to the Koehler and Dykes nieces and nephews, cousin to many on the Hurst and Koehler sides who are too numerous to mention, and especially loved and treasured by an extraordinary caregiving staff at The Bridge at South Pittsburg, TN, passed in the early morning hours of May 8, 2014. Despite many challenges he faced throughout his life, Laurence possessed a generous heart and would not wish for the many that came to know him, to mourn his passing, but rather, to know, with certainty that his spirit now dwells in paradise. His family expresses their great appreciation for all those who've expressed condolences, and asks those wishing to do something to honor Laurence's memory or
celebrate his life, to follow his or her heart. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations would especially honor his life. Laurence supported relief agencies and charities serving the poorest, most vulnerable, and neediest people, domestic and a abroad.
