Memorial  services will be announced at a later date for Mr. Larry Grimes, age 79,who passed away on April 5th, 2023.

Larry will be remembered as a kind and generous man who would help

anybody. He proudly retired from the U.S. Navy, serving over 29 years

mostly working aboard  nuclear submarines. He loved all children and wanted to be grandpa to them all. He was an avid Alabama football fan,Roll Tide. Larry was loved and will be missed.

He is preceded in death by his wife Delores Kernea Grimes; parents

Daniel and Evelyn Grimes.

He is survived by his children Jessica Grimes; son Larry (Christopher Ezell); Karen Kernea, partner Judy Saint, lifelong friend Robin Craft and numerous chosen grandchildren.
