Larry Frank Cochran, age 78, passed away on October 8, 2026.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Crestwood Funeral Home. Tony Wood will officiate and offer a word of prayer. There will be no formal funeral service or graveside service.

Larry proudly served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1969. Following his military service, he dedicated 39 years to Goodyear Tire & Rubber before retiring. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and raising his cows. A devoted Alabama football fan, Larry also cherished the time he spent with his beloved dog, Toby. He was a member of North Glencoe Baptist Church.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Hobert Cochran and Mattie Louise Carter Cochran; his sister, Maxine Solley; his brother, Carson Cochran; and his son, Chad Cochran.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Brenda M. Cochran; his son, Clay (Rhonda) Cochran; his sister, Retha (Daryl) Mosher; his grandchildren, Lauren (Johnathan) Barnard, Allison, Austin, Cale, and Caitlyn; and his great-granddaughters, Avalee and Lydia Barnard. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, as well as sisters-in-law Brenda G. Cochran and Bettye Malcolm Grant.
