Obituary

Kenneth "Lamar" Stott, 79, of Gadsden, AL died Friday, November 27, 2020. He was born February 27, 1941. He is preceded in death by his mother, Sula Spinks, brother, Virgil Stott, and daughter, Deana Marie Stott. He is survived by his two children, Teresa (Ron) Dalton and Rachel Stott, his grandchildren, Tiffany (Will) Wagnon, Ty (Holly) Hunt, Chandler Pritchett, Brooke (Zach) Stagg, and Faith Abernathy, his great-grandchildren, Madison Wagnon, Reese Wagnon, Jules Wagnon, Cole Hunt, & Tate Hunt.

Lamar graduated from Gadsden High School where he was an All-State wrestler. He then worked for National Cash Register where he retired, and lived on his farm in Gadsden, AL. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and traveling the country visiting historic landmarks. His hobbies included anything outdoors, working out at the local YMCA, repairing dated clocks, and woodworking.

He was an active member of Goodyear Heights Baptist Church in Glencoe, AL where he served for several years. He will be remembered for his funny personality, and always bringing laughs to the people around him.

Pallbearers will be, Ty Hunt, Will Wagnon, Chandler Pritchett, Ron Dalton, Zach Stagg, & Joe Cobb.

Visitation and funeral services will be at Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home in Gadsden, AL.
